Conditions: SPE column was used with a 10 mL syringe (REF 729102) connected with adapter (PP) for polypropylene columns (REF 730100.4).
(MN recommendation: Alternatively, CHROMABOND® vacuum manifold (REF 730150) can be used.)
Column conditioning: 0.5 mL methanol, then 10 mL water
(Do not let run the column dry.)
Sample aspiration: sample was pressed through the column
Washing: 3 mL water
Elution:
Method I – The dried top layer of C18 ec adsorbent (ca. 2 mm) containing immobilized analyt was used for spectroscopic measurement. (No elution solvent was applied.)
Method II – Immobilized analyt was eluted with 400 µL methanol. The volume was adjusted to 500 µL, transferred to a quartz cuvette and analyzed with UV-vis spectroscopy.
