Determination of X-Ray / Iodinated Contrast Media from Waste Water

Conditions: Column conditioning: Add 5 ml methanol to the column and aspirate slowly - followed by 5 ml water. (Do not let run the column dry.)
Sample aspiration: Aspirate the sample through the column at 10 ml/min. Vacuum dry the column for 30 seconds.
Column washing: Wash the column with 5 ml water.
Elution: Elution can be done by 5 ml of methanol (table 1) or alternatively by 5 ml acetone (table 2).
