Sample application:
Slowly force or aspirate 10 ml clear sample solution (2 – 5 μg vitamin B12)
through the column

Column washing:
1 column volume water; the column must not run dry!

Elution:
2 ml ethanol / 0.05 M sodium dihydrogen phosphate solution (1:1, v/v), then 3
ml dist. water

Interfering dyes can be removed using a CHROMABOND® SB (= SAX) column (3 ml /
500 mg) on top of the C18 ec column.
